Preparing KDE 4.5 meeting
Well, in the last days we have been working with KDE-AR guys looking at what do we have for the next release party, witch appears to be done the first week of August(07/08/2010)
We're looking to any colaborator who can give us at least ideas, voluntary people, and any other thing that could appear. Making a good use of password manager
Maybe you notice there 're a lot of password managers nowadays, and you may be confuse about which is secure, and which not. Well, starting, there's no-one full secure, but they give you at least quiet security, enough for a lot of environment. In this case a little program appear, named "KeePassX".
It give you the possibility to encrypt all in a master database, and only access with a master code. The complete database is always encrypted either with AES (alias Rijndael) or Twofish encryption algorithm using a 256 bit key.
Blog recovery
I had never been a good blogger, and i let it behind, maybe because i had not totally interest of it, or maybe because i had never host it ok. That's one of the reason i must recreate it, never remove an old backup, it can be useful!!!
I hope this new blog is useful, or at least give me the opportunity to express.
Going on FLISOL!
Flisol, one of the most exciting, or maybe the most painful of the year had pass. For those who don't know what's flisol, it's an install event, in witch new users come with there's pcs to install a free as freedom OS, or maybe, just what can be. But?, why it's difficult?, well, normally the users who bring this pcs has already problems with them, with things like graphics, wifi, etc problems.
On Saturday April 24 Ardriva participated in the FLISOL made in Quilmes, and give a talk (very poorly organized from me, I do Responsible for it, but it turned out!), Some CDs were distributed, and people enjoy the event. The event didn't attract as much of People as the past year, but still was not fail, simply lacks diffusion.
Beyond that I wanted to stand out we had enough support Mandriva for this event, they sent us some cds, a lot of Stickers, and ecological pens. that there are still here, and will be really useful for the next event.

Release Party KDE 4.4
Finally!, it has been made the past 13/02, but certainly it was really interesting. It started around 8pm, and took around 8hours, wow, it has really extended. Some of us start arriving from a local meeting, with the purpose of participate in a local event(it does not matter, but it's the next event were kde-ar will be).
Suddenly, we sit and start drinking(yeahhhhhh), but around that moment we were 4. After 30minutes we were the double, and after that, we were a few more, so in that moment it really start. Alvaro start talking about kmymoney, and kde development,, with other things that appears. At this time we continue having some beers, but there were really expensive in that place, so we didn't take as much as we would like(horrible situation) 
.
After this the moment to eat something has arrived, and one of the guys invite us to their home(Miguel Angel Ríos), so the party continue there. We finally arrive there(on bus 
), and arrive to his fridge. We buy some pizza, 6 or 8 as i remember, and we end them really fast.
After that(¡¡¡food!!!) we continue discussing about kde, and other stuff that appear until 2am/4am(i go out 1am, so i don't know what had happened after).
